Sri Lanka is and island country lying in the Indian ocean. It consists only 65,610 km². Its coastline is 1,340 km long. The most part of the country is very greenish. Objects carved in wood, made of brass and silver, decorated with lacquer, handloom textiles and lace, beautiful reed mats, attractive batiks, pottery, masks, are among the handicraft items made by the traditional craftsmen of Sri Lanka.
